Daniel’s Nemesis

Daniel’s Nemesis (aka Daniel Luzio) has been writing since he was a teenager, mostly because reality never quite measured up. Things really spiralled after he watched “Un Chien Andalou” and realised logic was optional and that writing should be like dreaming with your eyes open. In a moment of temporary structure-seeking, he completed an MA in Scriptwriting at Goldsmiths. It helped. Briefly.

He then vanished into South Korea for 15 years, under the guise of an EFL professor, where he developed a curious habit of video-making for his students A return to the UK (and a particularly soul-sapping office job) reignited his drive to publish his work by any means necessary.

Running Away From Myself is Daniel’s first published novel, though by no means his first flirtation with long-form chaos. Two of these earlier works now exist in podcast form, where they lurch between coherence and glorious nonsense.

Outside of writing, Daniel volunteers at a hospital radio station, sharing indie gems and electronic goodies with anyone wandering the corridors in need of a sonic detour. He currently lives somewhere between Here and What Just Happened.
